Integration Update: JTL 1.5

This update introduces a significant overhaul of the plugin's settings interface and expands your control over data permissions and Digital Object Identifier (DOI) behavior, tailored to different data sources. We've also added a crucial marketing opt-in feature to ensure compliance and enhance customer trust.

Key Improvements:

  • Refined Settings Structure and Granular Permissions:
    • The settings interface has been completely redesigned for improved usability and clarity.
    • New, more precise control over DOI and permission settings based on individual data sources.
    • Dedicated settings for managing exported permissions for order events and newsletter sign-ups, providing greater flexibility.
  • Customer Marketing Opt-In:
    • A customizable opt-in checkbox during checkout allows customers to explicitly grant marketing consent.
    • This feature is optional, allowing you to adapt to your specific marketing strategies. If disabled, consent is assumed.
  • Improved Contact Source Management:
    • The "Source of contacts" is now presented with user-friendly labels, replacing technical jargon for better understanding.
  • Account Deletion Event Tracking:
    • A new setting enables the transmission of "Account Deletion Event" data, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.
  • Enhanced Wishlist and Availability Features:
    • Wishlist_v2 and Availability_v2 events no longer require mandatory fields, providing more flexibility in data collection. (Note: Version 2 was introduced as event updates are no longer possible.)
  • User-Friendly Abandoned Cart Settings:
    • The text within the abandoned cart settings has been revised for improved clarity and user comprehension.
  • Streamlined Synchronization:
    • The "Sync mode" setting has been removed, simplifying the plugin's configuration.
  • Improved Webhook Accessibility:
    • A fix has been implemented for the .htaccess file, ensuring reliable accessibility of webhook files.
